Website Development · Portugal
We build websites that earn their keep. Every build is server-rendered for search engines, measured against Core Web Vitals, and tested on real devices before it ships — so the site you launch is the site your customers actually experience.

What changes when the client is in Portugal
The engineering is the same wherever you are. What differs is the compliance, currency and operational detail — and that is the part that sinks projects when it is bolted on at the end.
01
EU-resident data by default
Systems are deployed in EU regions with GDPR obligations designed in — lawful basis, retention, export and erasure handled from the first sprint.
02
One hour from most of Europe
Working hours overlap the whole European day, so there is no waiting overnight for an answer on a decision that blocks the build.
03
Euro commerce and local VAT
Stores and invoicing built for EUR pricing and Portuguese VAT treatment, including the invoice sequencing rules local accounting expects.

How we work in Portugal
We work with Portuguese clients remotely and in English. Our written deliverables, documentation and interfaces are English by default — if you need the product itself in Portuguese, we will scope translation properly rather than running the copy through a machine.
Invoicing in EUR. Serving Lisbon, Porto, Braga and the rest of Portugal.

Questions
Website Development in Portugal, answered
Do you work in Portuguese or English?
We work in English. If the end product needs a Portuguese interface we scope professional translation into the project rather than machine-translating it, because a half-translated product costs more credibility than it saves in budget.
Where is our data stored?
In EU regions by default, with GDPR obligations built in rather than retrofitted.
How long does a website take?
A focused marketing site is typically 4–6 weeks. Sites with custom functionality, multiple languages or a bespoke CMS run 8–12 weeks. We give you a dated plan before we start.
Will the site be good for SEO?
Yes. Pages are server-rendered so crawlers see real HTML, we ship structured data and a clean URL structure, and we hand over a redirect map so your existing rankings carry across.
